Boiling water accident claims young life

A SIX-year-old girl from Chimanimani, Manicaland Province tragically died from severe burns after colliding with her grandmother, causing a bucket of scalding water to spill on her.
On 27 November 2024, the young girl accidentally bumped into her grandmother, who was holding a bucket of boiling water, causing her to tumble to the ground.
As a result, the scalding water poured all over the child, inflicting severe burns to her head, stomach, and back.
In an official statement on X, the Police said, “The victim was taken to Beitbridge Hospital where she died on 28 November 2024 whilst receiving treatment.”
