A 29-YEAR-OLD man from Masvori Village, Chief Gambiza, Chiwundura, Gweru has been sentenced to two months behind bars for failing to pay maintenance for his two children.
Tatenda Sikwehle was legally bound to provide US$100 monthly for the care of his two young children.
However, he defied the court’s directive, accumulating a debt of US$300 between August and October 2024, said the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) in a statement.
Luckily for Sikwehle, the sentence was wholly suspended
