Boost for Hurungwe

Rural District chief executive has said.
HRDC chief executive Mr Joram Moyo said the project was expected to start once surveys and assessment of various needs for the existing rural roads including those yet to be opened up are complete.

“For Hurungwe district this will be a major boost to our roads network particularly in A1 and A2 farming communities where most roads were not captured under Zinara,” said Mr Moyo. “The project definitely will bring relief to newly resettled farmers most of whom had difficulty in taking their produce to the market due to poor or lack of roads. Poor connectivity has also been cited by bus operators shunning these areas.”
