adminTHE Highlanders Harare supporters’ chapter will take care of the team’s accommodation and meals expenses ahead of their Battle of Zimbabwe clash against Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon.
The chapter’s chairman, Modern Ngwenya said apart from taking care of the team’s accommodation and meals, they were also looking at some financial motivation for the players in the event that they beat DeMbare, something Bosso last achieved in a league match in 2006.
Ngwenya revealed that they were responsible for the team’s upkeep in Harare from yesterday adding that today’s match provides the best opportunity for Highlanders to break the jinx as the Glamour Boys were not at their best.
Highlanders chairman Peter Dube announced at the club’s extraordinary general meeting last Sunday that well wishers had already taken care of the team’s accommodation in Harare for the big clash against Dynamos.
Voted in on Africa Day, the fledgling chapter has pledged to assist the club in looking after the team each time they travel to the capital to fulfil a fixture.
