HIGHLANDERS Football Club is on the hunt for a new Chief Executive Officer after Brian Moyo threw in the towel amid swirling allegations of fraud that have rocked the club’s corridors of power.
“We are inviting qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the CEO position,” reads a statement released by Bosso on Monday. “The successful candidate will be expected to provide strategic leadership and report directly to the Executive Committee.”
While the club has kept mum on the full details surrounding Moyo’s exit, sources say tension had been building behind the scenes over alleged financial irregularities.
To fill the void, Bosso is seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree, with preference given to those holding a Master’s or higher, and extensive experience in football administration and governance, especially with knowledge of FIFA Club Licensing.
Strong ties to the Bosso brand and a proven ability to liaise with the PSL, ZIFA, and corporate sponsors are considered vital.
Applicants must submit a cover letter, certified academic documents, national ID or passport copy, and a detailed CV. Submissions must be made by May 26, 2025, through post, hand delivery, or email.
“Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted,” the club emphasised.
With Moyo’s dramatic exit still fresh, fans are left wondering — will Bosso bounce back stronger, or is this just the beginning of deeper chaos?
