Bosso missing three key players

HIGHLANDERS will host Bikita Minerals in a tricky Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Barbourfields this afternoon missing three key players due to suspensions and injury.

Bosso are back at home after back-to-back draws away to Ngezi Platinum and TelOne while Bikita Minerals collected a win away to CAPS United and a point at home to Ngezi Platinum in their previous two games.

The hosts will be without captain and goalkeeper, Arial Sibanda, who is injured and then Melikhaya Ncube and Mason Mushore who are suspended.

Kaindu expects the visitors to put up a fight.

“Out first midweek fixture after two away games against Ngezi Platinum and TelOne where we managed to pick a point from each game. We come back to play against Bikita, a team that has shown resilience.

“We anticipate that the game will be played fairly. Bikita will also want to pick up maximum points and we know they will not just sit back and defend. I am sure they will also try to come and get a goal.

“We have two suspensions and a late injury on the goalkeeper, captain Ariel Sibanda. He sustained an injury today during our last training. It looked a bit serious, and we just hope he recovers soon.”
