BOSSO REVENGE MISSION Try time as Highlanders plot payback against MWOS

HIGHLANDERS are out for revenge as they prepare to host Castle Lager Premier Soccer League surprise package MWOS this Sunday at Emagumeni, with caretaker coach Try Ncube insisting all systems are go.
Ncube, who stepped in following the sudden exit of Zambian gaffer Kelvin Kaindu, will be joined on the touchline by club legend Agent Sawu. The duo previously served as Kaindu’s assistants and are now tasked with steadying the Bosso ship.

“So far, everything is going according to plan. It’s going to be a tricky game because MWOS are a good side,” said Ncube. “They beat us in the first match of the season, but we are prepared. We’ve been working on player combinations going forward and we hope to get a result at home.”

Bosso, who have struggled for consistency, face a bruised MWOS side still licking their wounds after suffering a first defeat of the season last week at the hands of Ngezi Platinum Stars. That loss ended an impressive 17-match unbeaten run.
MWOS edged Highlanders 1-0 in the reverse fixture and will be aiming for a rare league double, but Barbourfields will be a different battlefield with home fans demanding a strong response.
Meanwhile, log leaders Simba Bhora, coached by the flamboyant Joel “Dubai” Luphahla, travel to Mandava Stadium for a high-stakes clash against former champions FC Platinum, who are still unbeaten after 17 games. Their last match was marred by drama after Dynamos stormed off the pitch in protest of a penalty decision.

Chicken Inn are on the road to Gibbo Stadium to face Bikita Minerals, while Ascot Stadium plays host to TelOne versus Herentals College.

ZPC Kariba welcome fading giants Dynamos at Nyamhunga Stadium in another must-watch showdown, while Baobab Stadium sees Ngezi Platinum Stars taking on struggling Kwekwe United.
So far, the PSL season has produced 253 goals, with the title race heating up as Simba Bhora now lead the table with 36 points — just one ahead of MWOS.
