BOSSO VS CAPS: BARBOURFIELDS SET TO ERUPT!” — Dynamos superfan crushed to miss the action

Fungai Muderere , Zimpapers Sports Hub

THIS afternoon, all roads lead to Barbourfields Stadium as Bulawayo giants Highlanders prepare to lock horns with bitter rivals CAPS United in a mouth-watering first-leg clash that’s expected to pack the stands to the brim.

It’s more than just a game — it’s war on grass, passion in the terraces, and bragging rights on the line!

But while the city gears up for one of the biggest fixtures on the domestic calendar, one high-profile supporter will be painfully absent from the electric atmosphere of Emagumeni.

Donald Wadawu, a household name in Zimbabwean football fan circles and a die-hard Dynamos supporter, will be missing out on the chaos and chants at BF.

“It hurts, I won’t lie. These are the games you live for as a football fan,” said Wadawu, who is currently tied up at the Queens International Pool Tournament at Queens Sports Club.

“I’ll be following from a distance, but I see this one ending in a stalemate,” he added, predicting a cagey affair between the two giants.

His absence may be felt, but nothing will stop the green and black tidal wave from colliding in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.

Highlanders will be banking on home turf advantage, while CAPS United arrive in Bulawayo eager to spoil the party.

Police have already called for calm as rival fans prepare for what could be a heated showdown both on and off the pitch.

Kick-off is set — and Barbourfields is ready to roar.
