HEARTBREAK has gripped Highlanders FC following the tragic death of their former midfield wizard Brian “BB” Banda, who was killed in a traffic accident on Sunday.
The silky-footed star, now with FC Platinum, met his untimely end while still in the prime of his career — leaving teammates, fans, and the local football community shattered.
“Brian was a gifted midfielder who proudly wore the black-and-white jersey before continuing his professional journey with FC Platinum,” said Bosso in a moving tribute.
BB’s dazzling footwork and calm presence in the engine room once lit up Barbourfields, earning him admiration across the league.
“Highlanders Football Club is deeply saddened by the untimely passing on of Brian Banda,” the club added. “We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, teammates, and the entire football fraternity during this time of profound loss.”
