HIGHLANDERS have lined up an awareness roadshow set for this Sunday as part of build-up activities ahead of the public launch of their centenary celebrations, which will take place at the club house the following day.

The roadshow is aimed at spreading awareness and building excitement around the club’s historic 100-year milestone, which will be marked next year. Club officials say the initiative is about taking the Bosso spirit directly to the people and uniting supporters ahead of the landmark celebrations.

“We are hitting the streets on Sunday to connect with you, our passionate supporters, and build momentum ahead of our historic centenary year,” the club said in a statement. “The message is clear one ride, zero regrets. Come out, make some noise, wear your black and white and ensure your presence is counted as we drive the spirit of Bosso across the city.”

When Highlanders mark their 100th anniversary, the celebrations are expected to transcend football and become a city-wide event. Founded in 1926, Bosso have grown from a community-based side into one of Bulawayo’s strongest cultural institutions, with a support base that cuts across generations.
