Prophet Walter Magaya’s bodyguard, Tapiwa Felix Chikondo’s latest bail bid has flopped. He is facing obstruction of justice charges.
The presiding magistrate, Ruth Moyo ruled that there were no changed circumstances warranting his release pending trial.
Chikondo is alleged to have interfered with one of Magaya’s alleged rape victims and her family. He approached the court seeking bail on changed circumstances arguing that he was a suitable candidate for bail as he had been acquitted on similar charges.
In the case he was cleared off, he was accused of assaulting police officers in a bit to stop Magaya’s arrest at his prayer mountain in Waterfalls.
