adminA-15-year-old Chipinge boy Daniel Maruva hanged himself over a $1 wrangle with his young brother last week. It is believed that he had a misunderstanding with his 11-year-old young brother over a $1 bill he had stolen from him. He wrote a note and placed it in his bedroom stating that he was going to take his life because of the misunderstanding.
Daniel proceeded to a nearby bush about 300 metres away from his homestead and hanged himself using a rope. His body was later discovered by Edralyn Maruva (23) of the same village who was looking for her cattle in the bush. Edralyn then informed other relatives who rushed to the scene and reported the matter to the police. – The Manica Post.
