BREAKING: Bulawayo deputy mayor acquitted of bribery charges

BULAWAYO’S Deputy Mayor, Councillor Edwin Ndlovu, has been acquitted of bribery charges.

Ndlovu had been jointly charged with Councillor Mpumelelo Moyo for allegedly demanding a $20,000 bribe from a cement factory investor.

The Deputy Mayor, who was represented by Zibusiso Ncube of Ncube and Partners, was acquitted of all charges on Wednesday morning.

His co-accused, Moyo, has been remanded on bail until next Monday.
