BREAKING: Chief Ndube dies

CHIEF Ndube, born Nonhlanhla Sibanda, of Filabusi has died.
She was 40.

The late Chief was installed in 2007, succeeding her father, Andrew Sibanda, who died in 2001.
Matabeleland South acting Director of Local Government and Public Works, Mr Zachariah Jusa has confirmed the death.

Chief Vuyani Nyangazonke Ndiweni also confirmed the passing on of Chief Ndube.

Chief Ndube is survived by her husband and several children.

The late Chief Ndube made history when she took over the chieftainship in September 2007, aged 22, after a six-year battle with other close family members.
