Breaking: Magaya fails to stop ZIFA elections

High Court Judge Justice Tawanda Chitapi has upheld a ZIFA decision to bar Yadah FC owner Walter Magaya from contesting in this Saturday’s election. Magaya dragged ZIFA to the High Court, challenging his disqualification on the basis that he failed to produce O’Level certificate with at least 5 subjects. Magaya argued he had “higher qualifications” from UNISA, but ZIFA statutes insisted on at least 5 O’Levels that the PHD Ministries founder failed to produce.
Verdict : The High Court doesn’t have jurisdiction to attend to this matter.(Zifm sterio)
