The 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season ended in heartbreak for Yadah, GreenFuel and Bikita Minerals, who were all relegated on the final day, joining already-demoted Kwekwe United in exiting the Premiership.
Yadah fell 0-1 to former champions Simba Bhora, GreenFuel were held to a 1-1 home draw by fellow strugglers Triangle United, while Bikita Minerals suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat away to Manica Diamonds. The trio needed victories to lift themselves out of danger but came up short when it mattered most.
Meanwhile, the anticipated drama at the top end of the relegation battle did not materialise, as traditional giants Dynamos, Highlanders and Chicken Inn all secured their safety with hard-fought draws.
