remains that were taken abroad during the colonial era.
Addressing journalists after their closed-door meeting, Minister Kazembe Kazembe said: “He paid a courtesy call so that we
could discuss areas of potential cooperation. We spoke about several issues and agreed that we could cooperate in immigration
issues. We are working very well.”
Ambassador Vowles said: “It was a great pleasure to meet the Honourable Minister. We had the opportunity to talk about a
range of issues that affect the UK-Zimbabwe relationship. Above all, we wanted to talk about how as the UK and the
Government of Zimbabwe we are trying to improve our relationship, to work as genuine partners across a range of things.”
