Bruised Highlanders face Manica Diamonds as six Castle Lager PSL matches light up midweek action

Six exciting Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches are lined up for Wednesday, as top Zimbabwean football clubs return to action across the country. Highlanders FC, still recovering from a 3-2 home defeat by defending champions Simba Bhora, will travel to Mutare to face Manica Diamonds at Sakubva Stadium.

Bosso, as Highlanders are affectionately known, are eager to bounce back in this midweek PSL fixture. Their opponents, Manica Diamonds, are coming off a 1-1 draw against Ngezi Platinum Stars, coached by Takesure Chiragwi.

At Luveve Stadium, struggling Chicken Inn FC will take on Ngezi Platinum Stars in what promises to be a tightly contested match. Elsewhere in the capital, Herentals FC will host former champions FC Platinum at Rufaro Stadium.

Simba Bhora, riding high from their recent win, will meet Bikita Minerals at Wadzanayi Stadium. The match is expected to draw attention as Simba Bhora continues their strong campaign in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.

In Chisumbanje, Greenfuel FC will battle it out with Scottland FC at Greenfuel Arena, while TelOne FC will clash with ZPC Kariba at Ascot Stadium in Gweru.

Thursday’s fixtures will see Dynamos FC take on Yadah Stars at Rufaro Stadium, while log leaders MWOS FC will look to capitalise on home advantage against CAPS United at Ngoni Stadium.

Rounding off the week, Kwekwe United will host Triangle United at Bata Stadium, completing a packed schedule of PSL football action across Zimbabwe.
