ALL is on track for Zanu-PF Bulawayo province’s belated 21st February Movement celebrations set for Saturday at the Large City Hall.
The celebrations are an annual event meant to inculcate into young Zimbabweans the principles of hard work, honesty and patriotism that President Mugabe personifies.

All youths have been invited to the event regardless of political affiliation.

Bulawayo Zanu-PF youth league political commissar Cde Boniface Mutsure yesterday told Chronicle that preparations were going according to plan and urged youths to come and celebrate the life of the revolutionary icon.

“Preparations have gone well. Youths must come to celebrate the exemplary life of a revolutionary icon. They should also attend to understand how they can play their part to push forward Zim- Asset,” said Cde Mutsure.

Bulawayo Zanu-PF youth league secretary for information and publicity Cde Colleta Shoko said the party’s politburo secretary for the youth league Cde Absalom Sikhosana will deliver the keynote address.

“Besides the keynote address by Cde Sikhosana there would be a road show from Davies Hall to the City Hall. Youths will also discuss issues affecting them. A number of entertainment activities are also lined up,” said Cde Shoko.

She said the event was open to all youths who would then share notes on how they can benefit from numerous government programmes.

“All youths are invited even those who don`t belong to Zanu-PF. It would be time for youths to understand how they can benefit from various empowerment programmes being offered by the government,” said Cde Shoko.
