The city of Bulawayo will from October 26 to 31 showcase a selection of European films as it kick-starts the European Film Festival in Zimbabwe at the Ster-Kinekor cinemas.

Harare has already begun festivities.

Announcing on their Twitter handle, the European Film Festival showed its readiness to keep on screening films. The festival’s coordinator Joshua Chiundiza also expressed happiness at the return of the festival especially given the current Covid-19 living conditions.

“We are very excited to be hosting the festival live again after being in lockdown for quite some time. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in person, and of course, we will be observing Covid-19 regulations,” said Chiunduza.
