Bulawayo Pool Association league roars back after Cup break

AFTER an exciting weekend of the Bulawayo Pool Association (BPA) Cup action that kept pool enthusiasts on the edge of their seats, attention now shifts back to the bread-and-butter competition as the Bulawayo Province Pool Association (BPPA) League resumes with a potentially explosive fixture 12 programme.
According to one of the league’s leaders Kuda Shoko, with teams eager to either consolidate their positions or revive their campaigns, “league action is expected to produce another thrilling round of contests across Bulawayo’s pool venues.”
One of the headline fixtures will see Dragons lock horns with Renegades in what promises to be a fiercely contested encounter. Both sides will be looking to return from the cup break with maximum points and renewed momentum.
Another intriguing clash pits Lobengula Sharks against AutoCom, while Entumbane face a stern test against Premier in a match that could have significant implications on the standings.
Elsewhere, Exchange will take on Expendables, with both teams desperate to strengthen their league ambitions as the season gathers pace.
QPA will host ZPC in another fixture expected to attract plenty of attention, while Khami square off against Delta in a contest that could go either way.
The battle between Nkulumane PC and Kings is also likely to provide fireworks, with both teams known for their competitive spirit and quality players.
Nkulumane based Fast Cash will welcome Legends, while Raylton face Vultures in a fixture that could prove crucial in the race for valuable league points.
Rounding off the weekend programme, Perfect Southwold will entertain Golden Lion in what promises to be another exciting showdown.
Following the BPA Cup excitement, league teams will be keen to quickly switch focus and continue their pursuit of league honours. With every point becoming increasingly important, pool followers can expect a weekend packed with tension, skill and high-quality competition as the BPPA League returns to centre stage.
