Bulawayo residents can expect another chilly winter day on Friday, with forecasts pointing to cool temperatures and a mix of cloud cover and sunshine throughout the day.

According to forecasts from AccuWeather, the city is expected to record a maximum temperature of around 20°C, while overnight temperatures are likely to fall to about 6°C as cold winter conditions continue to grip the region.

The weather service forecasts cloudy conditions during parts of the day, although residents can still expect occasional sunny spells and blue skies breaking through the cloud cover. There is little likelihood of rainfall, with dry conditions expected to persist across Bulawayo and surrounding areas.

Morning temperatures are expected to be particularly cold, with residents advised to dress warmly during the early hours and in the evening when temperatures will be at their lowest.

The cool but stable conditions are expected to provide favourable weather for outdoor activities, travel and sporting events, although motorists travelling early in the morning are encouraged to exercise caution due to reduced temperatures and possible patches of mist in low-lying areas.

The forecast continues Bulawayo’s typical June winter pattern of cold mornings, mild afternoons and dry weather conditions.
