WITH seven housemates out of the Big Brother Africa Hotshots House and 17 left so far, the atmosphere is no doubt getting tenser by the week.
JJ was again saved by Africa on last Sunday’s eviction night with the second highest country votes from Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe after Zambia’s Macky 2 who had four country votes.
Zimbabwe’s JJ and Butterphly are both safe from eviction this week with JJ even safer after he won the Head of House race and puzzle task.
The seven nominated housemates up for eviction this week are Arthur, Frankie, Kacey Moore, Luis, Mr 265, Macky2 and Sheillah.
Although Zimbabwe’s Butterphly is safe, a lot of criticism has come about with her being viewed as ‘boring’ and ‘too quiet’, questioning how she had survived this far, while entertainers like Alusa, Lilian and Esther were evicted.
Butterphly is not the only one who has drawn criticism as a ‘snoozer’ but Mozambique’s Trezagah, Malawi’s Mr 265 and Zambia’s Macky2 as well.
However, such criticism about Butterphly drew viewers to compare her with Zimbabwe’s former BBA Amplified (2011) winner, Wendall Parson who was pretty much an introvert throughout the show just like Butterphly, only to shock Africa when he emerged the winner.
