Saturday 13 August will be a taxing day for local wordsmith Cal_vin, whose attention will be divided between his own album launch and the much anticipated launch of Jah Prayzahas album where he is also a headline performer.
Cal_Vin will launch his album, titled Planet Vin at Elite 400 the same day that Prayzah launches Mudhara Vachauya, his much anticipated follow-up album to last yearas smash hit project, Jerusarema.
With Cal_vin pledging that his next album would be his last for the next couple of years, the rapper has been going all out to make sure that his next album launch is an all out success.
He will, however, have his eyes on two balls at the same time, as he and Winky D are Jah Prayzahas main supporting act in the Bulawayo leg of his album rollout.
In Harare, a day earlier, Jah Prayzah will be supported by veteran Oliver Mtukudzi and Willom Tight among other stars.
Cal_vin for his part said that he was ready to juggle his responsibilities between the two shows, as he was now growing as a performer and could handle more than one show per day.
a?I am now used to this and one thing to note is that the shows are going to be staged at different times. My launch will start at 5pm while his will kicks off at 9pm and that gives me ample time to execute my launch and also give my best for his later on,a? he said.
Cal_vin added that he was on course to sell out the venue, as he had already moved more than 300 of the 500 tickets on sale for the show.
