A MZILIKAZI man turned violent in a jealous rage after spotting another man chatting with his girlfriend — despite already having TWO wives at home!
25-year-old Admire Ndlovu is in hot soup after he was arrested for assaulting two men in a booze-fuelled brawl over a woman at Blue Lagoon Beer Garden near Renkini.
Appearing before Bulawayo magistrate Evia Matura, Ndlovu pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and tried to justify his actions by claiming he was outnumbered in a fight over love.

“I beat them up, yes, but they ganged up on me! We were fighting for a girl. That guy took my girlfriend,” Ndlovu boldly told the court.
According to court papers, drama erupted on 12 April 2025 around 6pm, when Ndlovu spotted Honest Gumede (25) chatting to his girlfriend. Enraged, he allegedly teamed up with a friend named Nkaa (still at large), and the two pounced on Gumede.
Ndlovu reportedly smashed a stone on Gumede’s forehead, while Nkaa stabbed him on the neck, hand, and back with a knife.
As the violence escalated, Junior Blessing Phiri (29), a friend of Gumede who happened to be passing by, tried to intervene — but got more than he bargained for.
Ndlovu allegedly hit Phiri with a stone to the cheek and stabbed him in the left shoulder.
In court, Ndlovu stunned many when he pleaded for leniency, saying he had two wives, four kids, and 21 goats depending on him.
The magistrate wasn’t having it.
“So were you auditioning for wife number three when you already have two at home?” the magistrate fired, leaving the courtroom in stitches.
The case has been remanded to 23 April as medical affidavits are still pending.
Meanwhile, police are still hunting for the elusive Nkaa.
