Addressing nearly 1 500 primary school heads at the Nash annual conference in Masvingo yesterday, Mr Rudanda said authorities should flush out headmasters involved in fraud.
“I am happy to say that we have already started a programme to train school heads throughout the country so that they have skills to handle finances.
“We have started holding workshops using our own resources where school heads are offered financial management courses so that they can have a better understanding in dealing with funds and we hope the move will result in a drop in cases of abuse of funds at most schools in the country,” he said.
He blamed the abuse on lack of training in financial management skills that can help in the administration of funds.
Mr Rudanda said the teaching profession was a spiritual calling requiring spiritually suited people.
