Cancer patient appeals for funding

A cancer patient from Bulawayo’s Entumbane suburb is appealing for financial assistance to help him undergo radiotherapy.
Lovemore Moyo, 29, has been living with cancer for the past eight years and needs $1,600 for treatment.“I’m appealing to well-wishers to assist me raise $1,600 so that I can be treated.  Last year I went to Galen House after being referred by Mpilo Central Hospital but due to lack of money I have not received any medication,” he said.

“I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and treated but in 2009 my health started deteriorating. I had to stop working because of this problem.”

Moyo said he wished to receive early treatment before the condition worsened.

He said he was always wearing a jacket as his condition does not allow him to be exposed to sunlight or cold weather.
