THE Zifa Southern Region Division One League is in shock after Casmyn FC midfielder Trust Munenge collapsed and died shortly after training on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old player had just finished a routine training session when tragedy struck.
Confirming the heartbreaking news, the Zifa Southern Region said in a statement:
“The Southern Region League executive extends its heartfelt condolences to Casmyn FC, and to the family and friends of Trust Munenge following his tragic passing.”
The cause of death was still unclear at the time of going to print, but the football community is united in mourning the loss of one of its own.
