Boxers urged to take medical examinations

PROFESSIONAL boxers have been urged to take their medical examinations as there are a number of tournaments, both local and international, lined up for next year.
The Zimbabwe Boxing and Wrestling Control Board secretary Patrick Mukondiwa said there were a number of inquiries through the association about some boxers.
“We have had a number of international promoters inquiring about some of our local boxers. We urge the boxers to go for their medical examinations so that they are cleared and are able to take part in the tournaments,” he said.
