The 7th edition of the CEO Africa Round-table will be held at the Elephant Hills Resort in Victoria Falls from March 18 to 20.
The CEO Africa Roundtable is a high platform for chief executive officers and senior executives from both the private and public sectors which was created to engender across fertilisation of critical economic and business knowledge in and around Africa.
CEO Africa Round-table chairman, Mr Oswell Binha, said Round-table 2020 will run under the theme “Industry 4.0: What’s in it for Africa.”
“The 7th edition of the Round-table will thus tackle issues to do with increased socio-economic risks, global political risks, global political knowledge and skills, engagements with politicians, business and civil society leaders whilst remaining politically neutral and building sustaining trust such that as a country we get ready to embrace the opportunities presented by new order of economics shaped by the fourth industrial revolution,” he said.
The event will avail a chance for chief executive officers (CEO’s) and senior executives in different sectors to harness converging technologies.
Mr Binha added: “CEO Africa Round-table has invited renowned high-powered speakers and industry practitioners from across the world who include Njeri Rionge, a multi-million dollar entrepreneur from the Republic of Kenya; Sibongile Sambo, CEO of SRS Aviation; Veli Ndaba, Professor Alemayehu Geda – Professor of Economics at Addis Ababa University and others.”
He said CEO Africa Round-table has remained cognitive of the political nuance in Zimbabwe and they are expecting the major political players who include Dr Nkosana Moyo and MDC president in addition to civil society and private sector leaders to discuss deeply the socio-political and economic tribulations of Zimbabwe in a pluralistic manner in pursuit of holistic national solutions.
“The leading international innovative meeting format has proved especially popular with participants, offers CEOs and investors the opportunity to identify new partners and share their sectors of activity, therefore, we invite all CEOs and senior executives to be part of this event,” said Mr Binha.
“In keeping up with the aims of CEO Africa Round-table 7th edition we will enable participants to attend a number of conferences featuring top-level debates on how to foster conditions favourable to strategic development of the continent leading business,” he added.
