Local film producer, Forget Chaduka has released a new film titled “Chadhuuka Part 2”. Chaduka said they were happy that they came up with the production after their successful debut project released early this year.
“Our first production was successful and the demand from our fans made us come up with a Part 2. We are hoping that people will appreciate it,” he said.
The plot which seems loosely based on the Nollywood formula of good people succumbing to temptation then overcoming evil follows the fortunes of a gardener called “Chadhuuka” who uses spells to seduce women then his evil powers later turn against him.
When Chadhuuka’s boss goes to the United States of America, the gardener casts a spell on the wife and she falls for him. Their dalliance results in a pregnancy. Then the wife finds religion with the help of a pastor who helps her overcome Chadhuuka’s spell. As his name implies, things come to head for the gardener with the explosive expose.
The story ends on a cliffhanger as the boss calls to tell his wife that he is about to return. Could this be an indication that a part 3 is in the pipeline?
Chaduka who is also a musician has just released his debut album titled “The Beginning”.
The 11-track album marks the beginning of his journey in the music industry. Just like in film, his music is centred on issues that affect people in their daily lives.
