The Chamber of Mines Golf Championships entered the second day with executives taking to the course in pursuit of silverware.

Mimosa Mines are the defending champions, having won the event last year. They secured the hosting rights during the Mutare tournament in 2024.

Winners of the annual event earn the right to host the following edition, and Mimosa — who are also celebrating 100 years of platinum mining — chose Bulawayo’s Country Golf Club to host the 2025 tournament.

Mimosa Mines general manager said the event, which began on Friday, will conclude on Sunday evening with the presentation of prizes.

The mining executives had held their annual Chamber of Mines Congress in Bulawayo last week.
