Gospel couple Pastor Charles and Olivia Charamba believe their debut show in Gabrone will open an avenue for more shows in Botswana. In an interview Mai Charamba, as Olivia is fondly known, said there was an overwhelming response and if all goes well they might return for another gig soon. “That was our first time performing there but the response was good. We had good time of preaching the word of God,” she said.

For her it was a great experience to meet their fans in Botswana for the first time as well as other artistes they shared stage with.

She said the show was well organised and people enjoyed the word of God through music.

Pastor Charamba said they praised and worshipped with their fans.

“We had time to meet with our fans there praying for them and exchanging contacts with them.

“As we promised, we were not going to do our ordinary shows but intercessory sessions,” said Pastor Charamba.

Tomorrow the couple will host their first show in the country this year when they perform at AFM Blessed Assembly Zengeza 4 in Chitungwiza.

Themed “Worship Moments” a lot is expected from the couple that is still fresh from the tour.

The Charambas are arguably the best-selling gospel artistes to emerge from Zimbabwe.

Their music appeals to a wide audience with their sing-along tunes.

“People should look forward to a complete package at our show this weekend because this will be yet another time of praising the Lord,” said Pastor Charamba.
