Baroka FC midfielder Talent Chawapiwa says coach Wedson Nyirenda’s halftime speech changed their mindset for the second half.
Chiefsa failed to secure their first win in the Absa Premiership after playing to a stalemate with the Limpopo outfit.
After a sloppy first half, Bakgaga improved their game in the second stanza where they dominated and carved out a number of chances.
a?Firstly I want to thank God for today, itas now the second (Man of the Match award) in a row,a? the Zimbabwean told SuperSport TV.
a?Going back to the match I think in the second half we did better because of the instructions of the coach. The coach told us what we were not doing,a? he continued.
a?He said we must not give them too much respect,A we can go out and win this game.a?
Chawapiwa also lamented the Limpopo sideas finishing in front of goal.
a?That has been our main problem (scoring goals). Every game we get so many chances but our finishing is very poor.
I think weare going to work on it in the upcoming games,a? he added. . . .
