THE Zimbabwe’s senior men’s sevens side, the Cheetahs, have named their traveling squad for the highly anticipated 2025 Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens Cup in Mauritius next week.

The tournament, slated for June 21-22, is set to mark the Cheetahs’ return to action after a lengthy break.

Head coach Ricky Paul Chirengende named a full strength squad that features a mix of experienced campaigners and rising stars, all of whom have excelled in domestic competitions and regional build-up fixtures.

The Cheetahs are drawn in Pool C alongside tournament hosts Mauritius, Tunisia, and Madagascar.

Despite the pool not featuring continental juggernauts like South Africa or Uganda, it presents a deceptively tough pathway with every team capable of producing major upsets.
