SOUTH Africa have beaten Zimbabwe in the second test by an innings and 236 runs at Queens Sports Club, in Bulawayo.

After South Africa declared on 626 for 5 on day 2 on Monday, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 170 in their first innings and made to follow.

The Chevrons still looked hopeless on Day 3, and by midday they were on 143 for 3.

Takudzanashe Kaitono 40, Nick Welch 55 and Craig Ervine 49 only delayed the invertible.

The Chevrons could only post 220 in their second innings.

And in the end, the Proteas made it 2-0 , and the test matches also came with a lot of records set.

That Wiaan Mulder as an individual made 367 in their first innings and Zimbabwe as a team managed a total of 390 in two innings, is the summary of this contest.
