ENSURING a stay in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League top eight should be the biggest priority when How Mine and Chicken Inn meet at Luveve Stadium this afternoon.

How Mine headed into this weekend’s fixtures on eighth spot while the 2015 League champions Chicken Inn were on number six. The first meeting between the two Bulawayo sides ended in a 0-0 at the start of the season.

Both teams have been inconsistent throughout the season even though they were victorious in their previous assignments.

How Mine notched up a 2-1 win away to Triangle while Chicken Inn defeated ZPC Kariba 2-0 at home having suffered a 1-0 loss to Bulawayo City the previous week, the second time they had come out second best to Amakhosi this season.

Across the city at Barbourfields Stadium, Bulawayo City who also have a chance to finish in the top eight in their maiden season in the top flight take on ZPC Kariba, a team they drew 1-1 with away in April.

Dynamos, overshadowed this season in terms of success by their city rivals Caps United who are fighting for the championship clash with Mutare City Rovers at Rufaro Stadium while already demoted Border Strikers entertain Triangle at Dulivhadzimu.
