BODYBUILDER Dominic Chideme believes he has what it takes to be among those who will be on the podium at the GS Classic at Zimbabwe College of Music this evening.
Chideme, who will be part of the athletes, said he is prepared for the contest and feels he could take the crown.
“I am well prepared and my wish is to make the podium. I know there is a lot of competition but, with the help of Rejoice Mujuru where I train, I think I have what it takes.
“I need to put Glen Norah on the map and I am confident that I will manage to do that. The contest comes at the right time as I have been preparing for the past three months,” said Chideme.
The contest, which is the brainchild of multi-award winning athlete, Simba Mhaka, is a qualifier for WFF Universe to be held in Bangkok, Thailand in June.
“We have covered a lot of ground now and we are only left with tying a few minor loose ends.
“There’s been a huge response from the athletes and we are confident that it will be a highly-subscribed event,” said Mhaka.
The GS Classic has managed to attract several partners who have come on board, including CIT Centre for innovation in technology, Trysupps Zim, Muscle Rage, Fitness For Her Gym, The great Sherpard from SA and Cards Unlimited.
