Chief Justice Luke Malaba to swear in six new judges of the Labour Court

CHIEF Justice Luke Malaba will on Friday swear in six newly appointed judges of the Labour Court at the Constitutional Court in Harare.

The six judges were among the 28 candidates who advanced to the final stage of interviews for Labour Court judge positions.

About 44 aspirants had shown interest in the positions. Garudzo Ziyadhuma, Clever Garikai Tsikwa, Bianca Makwande, Motion Jaravani, Evidence Gonesi and Rodin Mzyece are the six judges who will be sworn in.

According to the Judicial Service Commission Ziyaduma and Tsikwa have both been practicing for nine years, while Makwande has been in practice for eight years.

Jaravani has been in practice for 15 years, Gonese practiced for 17 years, while Mzyece has been in the legal fraternity for 21 years.
