A HARARE woman yesterday dragged her former housemate to court accusing her of killing a four-year-old boy.
Margret Chimubvumbi applied for a peace order against Moreblessing Mukarahati citing verbal abuse.
However, magistrate Tamara Chibindi dismissed the order due to lack of merit.
Margret said Moreblessing calls and insults her and also accuses her of murder.
“We used to stay at the same house Your Worship.
“When her son passed away, she accused me of poisoning him.
“I moved out, but she continues to send messages that I killed her four-year-old boy.
“I just want her to stop these accusations because I never killed her son,” she said.
In her defence, Moreblessing said she sent a text message since she was hurting.
“Yes, I sent her the messages, but I no longer want anything from her since I buried my child.
“When we were still living together, she told me that one day she will poison me.
“I thought it was a joke, but my son came home vomiting saying he was given bread by her,” Moreblessing said.
