Chinese Embassy donates to Zanu-PF Women’s League

THE Chinese Embassy has donated solar lights, agricultural inputs, and an assortment of groceries to the Zanu-PF Women’s League.

Thousands of people gathered at Herbert Chitepo Primary School in Zvimba East constituency yesterday to receive solar lights, inputs, and groceries.

Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Zhou Ding, handed over 500 solar lights, food, and tick grease to Zanu-PF chairman Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri for onward distribution to the Women’s League secretary and Senate President, Mabel Chinomona.

The groceries, including cooking oil, rice, and 80 tonnes of wheat, will bring Christmas cheer to women, particularly the elderly.

Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister, Marian Chombo, and Zanu-PF provincial chair, Mary Mliswa-Chikoka, attended the handover ceremony.
