CHIPAZ Promotions are set to host a charity social football show dubbed ‘‘Chipaz Bhora’’ at Dzivarasekwa Stadium on April 1.
The showcase, which had become an annual event before a Covid-19-induced halt, returns next month.
Four matches are slated to be played on the day.
The main match is between Zimdancehall musicians and their sungura counterparts.
In other matches, Zimpapers FC are set to face Christ Embassy, Vigilance FC will take on JAP FC while UZ Legends FC will face Drunkards FC.
As has been the norm, the football showcase will be followed by a musical show later in the evening dubbed the Freeman Homecoming Gala.
Event organiser Partson “Chipaz” Chimbodza said it was refreshing to see different artists coming together for a charity cause.
“We thought it would be noble to bring our artists together once more under this charity event.
“We know football is a unifying factor and social football has become the cog of interaction among organisations and society.
“We are happy and grateful to have seasoned artists like Nicholas Zakaria and seasoned promoters like Josh Hozheri coming up together and supporting this charity event.
“We are expecting to have a long day filled with entertainment as after football matches, we are going to have artists performing live.
“We are happy to have different stakeholders coming up to support the event.
“That is the reason we decided to have three more other teams on the cards.”
