Chisora fears board will throw the book at him

Chisora was questioned by German police after he was involved in a brawl with rival David Haye at his post-fight press conference following his defeat to Vitali Klitschko. Haye appeared to land a punch on Chisora, while Chisora in turn threatened to “shoot” Haye.
It came after Chisora’s antics before his fight against Klitschko — the Brit slapped his opponent at the weigh-in before spitting at him in the ring.
“Everyone is so annoyed with me — especially my mother,” Chisora told the Sun. “The first words she said when I got home were ‘what are you going to do now if they take away your licence?’
“There was nothing to say to her.                   All I could do was keep quiet. I am afraid of my mother, she is                       worried they’ll take away my                licence to box and where I’ll go to from here.”
Chisora comes up against the British Board of Boxing Control on 14 March, where they will decide the heavyweight fighter’s fate, and Chisora admits he is expecting a harsh punishment.
“Do I regret everything? Yeah, I do, I really do. It would have been better if I had stayed at home,” he said.
“Maybe the Board have already made up their minds. I think the Board will throw the book at me. I want to give my side of events and be treated fairly.” — ESPN.
