MIDFIELDER, Ronald Chitiyo, has decided to rejoin Simba Bhora.
He has already started reporting for duty at RBZ Sports Club where the team is training.
Just last week, Chitiyo was cleared to join a club of his choice on mutual consent by Simba Bhora.
The reason which triggered his return is still unknown as he had been linked with a move to Manica Diamonds and a reunion with CAPS United.
Some reports even suggested that Chitiyo does not see eye-to-eye with the club’s new coach, Tonderai Ndiraya.
But it appears the duo has ironed out its differences.
A club official confirmed that they just reactivated his old contract.
“Chitiyo is back at Simba Bhora, he has started training,” said the official.
“He remains one of our own, there hasn’t been bad blood, and everything which happened weeks ago, is now behind us.
“He hasn’t signed a new contract. His contract is set to expire at the end of this year and we are sticking to it. He was not offered a new contract.”
Club president, Simba “Buju” Ndoro, is believed to be an admirer of Chitiyo’s talent.
Ndiraya has also reunited with the Dynamos duo of Luke Musikiri and Stephen Chatikobo.
Cranborne Bullets forward, Brian Muzondiwa, who netted eight times last season, has also joined the club.
FC Platinum’s Nigerian reject, Onifade Temitope, is also trying his luck at the club, and so has Mandlenkosi Mlilo, who left Ngezi Platinum Stars, early this month.
Meanwhile, Simba Bhora are considering reshuffling their technical department after ZIFA implemented the standardisation for coaches.
Arthur Tutani, who guided the team to the Premiership, is a holder of a CAF B and the Ndoro told H-Metro that he would be elevated to the technical director post.
