The marriage between TelOne and the dormitory town of Chitungwiza which has continued to grow from strength to strength over the years has been given a boost by the modernisation project being implemented by TelOne.

The town was among the first to have an upgrade to the new technology which has resulted in faster internet speeds, prepaid voice service, video and audio conferencing, interactive voice response services and toll free services.

The new development has seen the thousands who were already enjoying TelOne services enjoying more for less and being able to manage their spend on communication. With almost 10 000 subscribers using the home ADSL broadband service, a lot more have now joined in the connectivity frenzy through the TelOne Public WI-FI, which has proven to be a favourite with more than 10 000 accessing the service every month. And to cement the relationship, TelOne has launched a number of specials for Chitungwiza including free installation and modems and free use of the public WI-FI service.

Extended opening hours for the Public WI-FI cafés has already been met with much excitement as it has guaranteed customers extended use of their favourite and convenient service.

Chitungwiza is one of the areas among 47 other areas that can now use the prepaid billing facility. This allows customers to manage what they spend monthly on their communication.

Prepaid voice service means customers have more control and convenience. This therefore enables customers to check their balance at any given time ensuring much needed control.

What is prepaid billing?

Prepaid billing is when you top-up first before making a call, also giving access to customers to check their balance and top up their accounts at any time.

How to recharge using a

TelOne prepaid voice voucher

The voice prepaid platform has interactive response capabilities. To recharge one’s account simply dial 216 on your landline and follow the voice prompts:

1. Press 1 for Account Recharge

2. Press 2 for Balance Enquiry

3. Press 3 for Validity period

Clients may also recharge through the TelOne self service portal http://selfservice.telone.co.zw/.

Prepaid voice vouchers are available at TelOne Client Service centres across the country for all client segments in $1, $2 $5, $10, $20 and $100 denominations.
