HUNDREDS of people from across Chivi District in Masvingo Province on Wednesday gathered at Maringire Primary School for public hearings on the proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 3 Bill, with the majority expressing support for the proposed changes.
The outreach programme, organised by Parliament, drew participants from all corners of the district, reflecting strong community interest in the legislative process and the future of the country’s constitutional framework.
Attendees included community leaders, villagers, youth representatives, and other stakeholders who came to present their views on the proposed Bill.
Proceedings at the hearing centred exclusively on the provisions of the proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 3 Bill, with contributors largely indicating agreement with its contents.
