Chronicle vehicle stolen

The sky blue Mazda B1800, with number plates AAA 9082 and RRB number 088 050, was stolen between 2.30pm and  2.45pm.
In an interview yesterday, B Metro Editor, Limukani Ncube who was using the vehicle said he realised that it was missing at about 2.45pm when he wanted to drive home.

“I was given the car keys by the transport supervisor   at about 2.30pm after he had refuelled the vehicle. We both went to the vehicle, which was parked at the centre parking area to check the fuel level. We both went back to our offices,” said Ncube.

“At about 2.45pm, when I wanted to go home I noticed that the car was missing and I advised the transport supervisor before we rushed to report to the police.”
The theft was reported at Bulawayo Central Police Station yesterday.
