LIGHT of Jesus Christ Ministries will next Friday celebrate their second anniversary under the theme “Restoration”.
The three day long celebrations will be held in Shamva were the church has its roots.
Light of Jesus Christ Ministries leader, Archbishop Lucy Madekureva said a lot of activities are lined up for this year’s celebrations.
“We expect our congregants to camp at Wadzanai Primary school in Shamva starting on Friday October 30. We will start with a night service from 5pm.
“The main celebrations will however be on Saturday and we expect to march from Wadzanai Primary School led by a band through Trojan Gold Mine, Shamva town centre before returning to the school.
“After that we will have testimonies from church members, appreciating what God has done to us throughout the year,” she said.
Archbishop Madekureva added that gospel musician Kudzi Nyakudya and the Light of Jesus praise team will entertain worshippers.
“We are also expecting officials from the Apostolic Christian Council of Zimbabwe (ACCZ), the local member of Parliament, chiefs and councilors to grace our celebrations,” she said.
“This will be a historical moment not to be missed, God will be showcasing His Godliness in a mighty way and everyone is invited,” Archbishop Madekureva said.
