Harare, 6 December 2024 – In a significant step towards fostering healthier communities, Cimas Health Group, Zimbabwe’s largest private medical aid society and wellness service provider, has unveiled the iGo Recipe Book.

The launch event was attended by health professionals, partners, and members of the media.
Dr Willmore Kapuyanyika, Head of iGo, emphasised the organisation’s commitment to promoting balanced eating habits and combating noncommunicable diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. “This recipe book is not just a collection of recipes; it’s a guide for better living,” he said.

The book, crafted by Cimas nutrition and culinary experts, features a wide variety of easy-to-follow, nutrient-rich recipes aimed at cooks of all levels. Alongside its recipes, the initiative includes a new mobile kitchen equipped with state-of-the-art tools to provide nutrition education directly to communities.

Guests at the event sampled dishes such as Zucchini Brownies and Strawberry Smoothies, which exemplify the book’s focus on health-conscious cooking.
Dr Kapuyanyika concluded by highlighting Cimas’ broader vision: “With initiatives like the iGo Recipe Book and mobile kitchen, we aim to inspire healthier choices and empower individuals to lead longer, healthier lives.”
The iGo Recipe Book is now available in both digital and physical formats.
