Mokoomba and Alexio Kawara at the Harare International Conference Centre.
Zahara and her band members will be given VIP treatment at the club as she meets with her fans.
According to Kudzai Matondo aka DJ Dee Nosh, Zahara and her entourage will hit the club after her performance.
“We have made sure that Zahara will appear at Circus today soon after her performance at the HICC. She will be accompanied by her band members and will be in the VIP area. However, we are not going to be strict since we know that fans would want her to sign autographs and of course have photo shoots.
We also want to encourage fans to come early to avoid stampede at the doors,” he said.
Dee Nosh and DJ Lady Cream will be running the decks throughout the night.
“All roads will lead to Circus International for the after party tonight starting at 9pm until late where fans will be up for a special treatment,” Dee Nosh said.
Zahara, whose real name Bulelwa Mkutukana, hails from Cape Town and was born on November 9, 1987.
According to Wikipedia, she has proved to be the biggest female artiste South Africa has seen since the demise of Brenda Fassie. Zahara made history when her debut album “Loliwe” sold over 200 000 copies in South Africa alone. The only other female artiste to achieve such a feat in South Africa in recent years was Fassie.
Unlike Fassie, who was considered to be wild and outrageous with very outspoken views about life in the townships, Zahara enjoys popularity with more gentle soulful songs such as “Lengoma’’, “Umthwalo”, “Incwadi Encane”, “Thekwana” and the album title track “Loliwe”. The South African sensation Zahara is expected to touch down at the Harare International Airport at 1pm today. She will head to CellOne Electronics along Robert Mugabe Road where she is expected to hold a Press conference.
She will be staying at the Rainbow Towers before she takes to the stage. The gig is being organised by CellOne Electronics and Ghetto Fabulous.
